As the main motif on the reverse is the Rectory building portals of the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
In the middle notes motive is monument History of Croats. This main theme continues at all higher denominations.

 For the purposes of collector of banknotes, the decision of the Croatian National Bank of 3 April 1996., the Croatian National Bank has prepared and included in selling kits of the Croatian dinar banknotes invalid. Banknotes are embedded in a special folder, which consist of plastic covers and page insertion support, separate partition sheets. Sets used for the formation of the banknotes that were not used in circulation. All banknotes invested in kits carry an equivalent designation and serial number.

On all banknotes, Croatian dinar is the main motive of the Croatian World renowned scientist from Dubrovnik (Croatia), Ruder Boskovic



On banknotes 1-1000 HRD motive is the Cathedral of St. Stephen in Zagreb, on the right side, in the central part of the motive are Stone Gate in Zagreb.
